Policies
-
Reservations and cancellation policies are in place to ensure bikes are fully serviced and ready for the next renter, and that we are available for pick-up and drop-off.
Online bookings require a minimum of 12 hours notice prior to rental pick-up.
Cancellations can be made up to 12 hours before scheduled pick-up time for a full refund. Cancellation made less than 12 hours prior to scheduled pick-up time will be charged a cancellation fee of $50.

We only allow our bikes to be transported using an approved method or equipment.
Acceptable methods include inside vehicles, tailgate pads, vertical rack, or tray style racks designed for fat bike use.
Very few racks are designed to fit fatbikes with 27.5 X 4.5" tires.
We do not allow transportation of our bikes on NorthShore racks, as the fork geometry does not allow them to be mounted securely without damage. We do not allow "trunk" style racks that are required to clamp the frame.
Additionally, many tray racks such as Thule can only fit a fat bike on the innermost tray, as the wheel clamp arm usually hits the wider fat bike frame is mounted on the second/outward tray.
To prevent damage, our bikes should be mounted securely with proper spacing to prevent contact from other bicycles, vehicle or equipment.
We provide suitable transportation equipment if needed. This keeps our bikes in pristine condition for your next ride, and the next renter.
-
Our bikes are intended for use on snow covered mountain bike trails. Bikes are equipped with studded tire, and are not intended to be ridden on pavement, or salty roads for the purposes of commuting within the city.
-
Rental equipment can be taken out of the city or province for the rental durations only if bike transportation requirements are met. We don't rent our equipment for international travel, transportation on airlines, or travel that requires dissasembly or boxing of equipment for transportation on train, boats or trucks.
-
Only the individual renting our equipment is authorized to use the equipment. Only the renter has signed the waiver and has a rental contract. The renter is liable for all rented equipment.
-
As detailed in the waiver, renters are liable for any damaged or lost equipment. In the event of lost or damaged equipment, damaged equipment fee charged to the renter may exceed the value of the security deposit up to the replacement value of the equipment as noted on the signed waiver.
